Our Principal Dawn Armitage

Dawn has been in the dance world since she was 5 years old and has spent every spare moment dancing and competing.

A dance teacher with over 20 years experience, Dawn has passed on her knowledge and experience to many students young and old. She is a qualified Fellow with the IDTA.

Alongside her many dance qualifications, she is a qualified fitness and wellness coach. 

For the past nine years she has also been a member of the IDTA South East Area Committee and currently sits on the Nationwide competition committee. 

Having passed her examiners interview she is looking forward to undertaking her new role.

The school's biggest cheerleader, Dawn is proud of all her pupils and always enjoys the annual highlight of taking the our competitors to Blackpool, our national competition. She is always proud of the achievements made of all participants and has been fortunate to have had many many finalists. 

Dance 2 Dawn is proud to have taught the Guinness World Record Holder for the oldest Male Ballroom and Latin Dancer at 100 years old. (Fred kept his dancing up until he was 103, but sadly passed away at 105 years young).

All levels, ages and abilities are welcome so don't delay any longer, come along and give it a try.
